Search are proud to be supporting a third sector organisation to appoint a part-time Governance Compliance Officer to join their Edinburgh office. The purpose of this role is to monitor MEHA compliance with regulatory standards and requirements and to support the wider senior management team.
Salary: Up to £40,000 (Pro rata)
Location: Edinburgh
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collate and test the accuracy of SPI data and prepare performance reports.
- Provide updates for the company's website regarding SPI information.
- Ensure compliance for the Freedom of Information.
- Monitor compliance for the Internal Audit Outstanding Actions report.
- Prepare reports of GDPR breaches, complaints and sickness.
- Assist the CEO in monitoring compliance.
- Note-taking for investigation, disciplinary and grievance meetings.
- Promote the work of the organisation to external parties.
Key Skills
- Excellent analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated ability in producing reports.
- Ability to work independently.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Social Housing Regulators (SHR) regulatory framework.
- Experience working in a Registered Social Landlord.
- Knowledge of FOI and GDPR regulations.
- Previous experience in a compliance/governance role.
- Experience of submitting returns and similar data to regulatory bodies.
- Experience of project management, research analysis and report writing.
