Description
- Lead and develop the financial strategy of the organisation.
- Oversee all financial transactions and accounting operations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.
- Provide financial insight and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Support the team with ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Profile
A successful Part Time Head of Finance should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- A desire to work Part Time/3 days/22.5 hours per week
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
