Part-Time Housekeeper

A lovely elderly couple in Liverpool , are looking for a part time Housekeeper to help care for their beautiful dockside apartment.

Family Background

The family comprises of a lovely friendly couple in their 70s .The lady of the house is sociable and active and cares for her husband who has Parkinsons disease. The family would like someone who is kind and considerate to his needs whilst working to keep the family home tidy and clean. The family home is a beautiful 2 bedroom modern apartment on the Albert Dock with 2 bathrooms.

Duties

You should be confident with all housekeeping duties and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as laundry, ironing, unpacking the groceries, running errands , changing beds, cleaning the bathrooms & kitchen, emptying the waste and helping with some life admin such as appointment booking. It is important that you have a positive and can-do attitude. You must be happy following instructions , you must be motivated and happy to work independently

The successful candidate will be happy to run errands like going grocery shopping, to the post office, or dry cleaners, as needed.

Location

The apartment is in Albert Dock , Liverpool . This is live out role.

Days/Hours

• Working 3 days per week Monday , Wednesday & Friday 4 hours per day 10am -2pm ( flexible on the start and finish times)
• You should be happy to be flexible and work extra hours or on weekend days on occasion, when agreed upon in advance

Languages

You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.

Special Skills

You should have good experience working as a housekeeper or cleaner in a private household. You should have an eye for detail and a warm & positive attitude and be happy to engage with the family as you work.

Job Type: Part Time

Salary: £16-£18- gross per hour depending upon experience

Schedule:

• Monday , Wednesday & Friday 4 hours per day 10am-2pm

Experience:

• Housekeeping: 2 years (required) with excellent references
• Excellent References
• DBS certificate Agency can assist
