Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of the transport shift, including ensuring appropriate resources are available to meet the planned activity levels.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance and monitor all defects and faults, updating the weekly compliance board.
- Keep all service maintenance records up to date in files and PC systems.
- Compile reports for all vehicle and driver incidents/accidents.
- Ensure vehicles are listed on the ULEZ, London Congestion Zone, and Dart Charge accounts and compliant with legislation affecting Kent/Sussex transport.
- Follow company procedures to ensure any parking tickets are paid on time and notifications are passed to HR for wage deductions.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance and recommendations are up to date.
- Liaise with HR on employment law compliance for our Transport Operations, including Health and Safety.
- Implement and adhere to CPC and Tachograph requirements.
- Monitor annual leave for rota planning and driver hours/contracted hours.
- Provide feedback to the employee and transport team on achievements and concerns to help identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the recruitment of driving staff as required.
Person Specification
- Clean driving license
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of staff at all levels.
- Proven organisational skills, including planning and problem-solving.
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service, including meeting customer expectations.
- Flexible working attitude.
- Previous experience of working within a busy environment, ideally within transport.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Office 365 software.

Working Hours are Tuesday - Friday 1500-1900 And Saturday 1100-1500
