We are looking for a Marketing / Sales Person to join the team at a busy Hotel, located in Shanklin.
This busy 3-star hotel caters for coach parties as well as independent travellers and has a fantastic reputation over many years with a strong management team in place.
This role is guaranteed to bring something new each day and never, ever dull!
About the role -
The role of Marketing / Sales Administrator involves assisting with the day to day running of the Marketing / Sales department ,
Tasks will include –
- Dealing with guest bookings and enquiries
- Creating contect for their website, and social media pages
- Taking reservations via different channels including Booking.com and inputting into our system
- Taking calls and replying to guest enquiries via email
- Supporting the General Manager in completing weekly and monthly reports, dealing with general enquiries and completing administrative tasks
- Supporting the Recception team as and when required
About you –
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to complement the existing sales team in the day-to-day running of the hotel
- Marketing / Sales experience in a hotel environment would be ideal but not essential
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and a positive proactive attitude
- Good IT skills
- Knowledge of the local area will be advantageous
