SalaryOur client, a chemical manufacturer, are looking for a part-time Recruiter/HR Assistant on a temporary basis for a 3- 6 month contract.
The HR Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assisting the Chairman and any relevant manager with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, the appraisal, training, and development of staff and issuing employment contracts.
Assisting in the planning of processes designed to improve employee welfare.
Involvement in the management of payroll.
Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the company's HR function.
Compiling and maintaining paper, digital, and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leave.
Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits.
Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars.
Entering employee data into the Company's computer database.
Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations. Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications.
Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.
Generally ensuring and facilitating the smooth operation of the Company's HR function.
Carrying out such additional duties as the Chairman or any person(s) designated by the Chairman may, from time to time, reasonably direct.
This role will be full time, office based.
