We have a great opportunity at a Merton based school that is seeking a dynamical and organised individual to fill the position of a Part-Time School Finance Assistant within their office team.
As a Part-Time School Finance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth execution of administrative functions related to finance. This is an excellent chance for an ambitious and capable individual eager to enhance their finance skills within an exceptional school setting.
Part-Time School Finance Assistant Key Responsibilities :
- Competitive day rate: £75-£100 per day.
- Provide administrative support, coordinating various finance services.
- Collaborate closely with Finance Officers and the Head of Finance to deliver a high-quality and efficient finance service aligned with the school's requirements.
- Manage and maintain the school's accounting procedures, analyse expenditure and income.
- Completion of an enhanced DBS is a requirement.
In the capacity of a School Finance Assistant, you must have meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in financial processes, and a knack for problem-solving. We are in search of an individual who demonstrates adaptability and strong organisational abilities to ensure seamless financial operations within the school office.
Part-Time School Finance Assistant Key Requirements:
- A 2:1 degree or above.
- Prior experience in a busy finance role; school experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SIMS is desirable.
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Resilient, proactive, and enthusiastic.
