Our client, a highly successful company, based in Cardiff, are looking for an Assistant Accountant (25hrs p/w) to join their Finance Team. They are offering a fantastic salary of £30,000 pro rota, hybrid working and other benefits.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in providing relevant information to Accountant, including expenses, new starters/leavers.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Produce financial reports as required.
- Manage project information, including timesheets and expenditure.
- Approve sub-contractor invoicing via project manager.
- Produce, issue, and manage monthly sales invoices.
- Manage creditors/debtors list and debt management.
- Manage budgets.
- Produce and maintain cashflow forecasts using Excel/Xero.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Xero accounting software and Excel experience
- Ability to work independently.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
