Pastry Chef - East Yorkshire Do you have a genuine passion for food and fresh ingredients? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to join our friendly kitchen team in our busy East Yorkshire award-winning Michelin Star pub. We are searching for an attentive and engaged chef to join our friendly team as Chef de Partie. You’ll be working collaboratively with our team of chefs to deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests. This role is ideal for a chef looking to progress their career in a top-class kitchen. You will gain experience on each section on a rotational basis, meaning you’ll need a keen interest in your own development, one that we will match with in-depth training. Sound interesting? Key responsibilities: Preparation and cooking of dishes to a high standard Provide a fast, efficient and high-class service to customers Able to lead by example, to nurture and develop junior team members Clean down kitchens to ensure spotless working environments Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene, appropriate to food preparation and service Experience required: Must be aware of, and conform to, all health and hygiene regulations Confidence in communicating with others Professional, enthusiastic attitude Eligible to work in the UK Driving Licence and own transport (we are in a beautiful surrounding, but quite rural) We offer: 4-day week with Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Bank Holiday Mondays off Competitive salary package, plus a share of tips Modern, high spec kitchen environment The opportunity to work within a friendly, dedicated team in a Michelin star kitchen using quality, seasonal ingredients, including those grown in our own kitchen garden and herbarium.
