Patent Secretary who will have a superb opportunity to be part of the continued success of the organisation.
THE ROLEYou will generally work for between two and three Fee Earners who cover Biotechnology & Life Sciences, Engineering & IT and Chemistry & Pharmaceuticals. Although you will be kept nicely busy, my client would like to hire a flexible individual who is happy to lend a hand covering annual leave, sickness and general peaks in workloads cross teams.
- E-PCT filings, GB filings, PCT filings and divisional filings
- Preparing and filing responses on OLF
- Preparing description and claim amendments
- Working from dictation, email and written instructions
- Create invoice requests, fees paid e-mails and invoice narratives
- Create various emails and calendar entries
- Checking the Partner's reminder system, generating reminder letters and taking action
- Drafting letters in response to enquiries from clients
- InterAction
- Use of EPO online filing software and the EPO register/WIPO register
- Scheduling meetings
ABOUT YOU- Previous proven patent secretarial experience
- Experience of EPO line filing software to prepare E-PCT, GB, PCT and divisional applications
- Excellent typing skills (fast and accurate)
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
