Hybrid working (2 days in office)
Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
£18,000 - £22,660 per annum plus benefits
Here at Serco, we partner with governments to provide public services across Defence, Justice & Immigration, Transport, Health, and Citizen Services. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our People Services Team. Our ever-growing payroll team is looking for a team player with the ability to update payroll systems, gather, calculate, and input data. You will support the payroll team with query resolution via phone, email and occasionally letters regarding queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.
What you'll need to do the role:
- Previous experience working in an administration role in a fast-paced environment.
- Payroll experience would be advantageous but not an essential for this role.
- Competent using Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new IT systems.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively to meet business needs.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
