This market leading business, are simply not stopping and are now on the lookout for a Payroll Administrator to join their friendly finance team at their HQ in Warrington.
Reporting into their Payroll Manager you will be responsible for the production of accurate and timely in-house payroll administration duties in accordance with UK payroll regulations, in addition to ensuring accurate data entry, and being an active member of the Payroll team.
Duties will include:-
Support the Payroll team in arranging the payment of staff salaries through the payroll system. This will involve the collation and input of all relevant information for the monthly payroll (including new starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, maternity and paternity pay)
Support the Payroll team in administering the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity Pay schemes
Ensure manual and computerised records are accurate
Support the payroll team in ensuring that the company monthly pension submission is completed on time and accurately
Support the payroll team in ensuring that PAYE and other payments are made on time
Ensure that National Minimum Wage and other regulations are adhered to
Assist with any new payrolls through acquisition and through the TUPE process
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role
To be considered for this role:-
At least 2 years dedicated Payroll experience
Experience of using an HCM software is highly desirable
Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook
Confident communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Self-motivated, calm and professional, and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
This role would suit a highly motivated, organised person who has appropriate Payroll experience in a dynamic company environment. Having recently implemented a new HCM software system, this role is ideal for an individual with experience of using HCM software who is great at identifying any discrepancies and who will take the time to problem solve and fix them.
