We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team on permanent full-time basis.
This role is responsible for accurate payroll administration and answering payroll queries as part of LG Shared Services.
Working alongside our external provider ADP to enable the build and delivery of agreed payroll solutions, ensuring payroll governance and approvals are in place. You will also work with internal HR Business partner and Stakeholders to support the set-up and identification of all required processes and systems to enable continued service to our employees across 8 countries.
Based in our Shared Service Centre, known as LSS. Acts as a central specialty service supporting the wider Liberty Global group with specialisms in areas of Finance, Accounting, People, Legal & Systems. This central team supports a number of businesses across the Liberty Global footprint including Virgin Media.
What will you be doing?
- Resolve complex pay queries enquiries, issues and complaints, escalating as appropriate.
- Complete accurate payroll transactional processing.
- Working closely with our Global Payroll Provider ADP – to ensure accurate processing.
- Ensure that statutory deductions are correctly made and accounted for and that all statutory returns, including those for taxable benefits, relating to the employees, are produced and despatched in a timely manner.
· Support the management of the accurate and punctual processing of all payroll credit transfer and emergency CHAPS payments.
- Ensure that non-statutory deductions made on behalf of the employees are accounted for and returns, including payment, are made to the appropriate organisations.

Essential:
- Working towards a CIPD or CPP or payroll related qualification or relevant HR, Reward and Payroll experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and can-do mentality.
- System savvy; able to full utilise standard Microsoft Office products.
Desirable:
- Experience of providing relevant advice on policy and process to line managers and employees desirable.
- A good understanding of external Payroll/Shared Services developments.
- A good understanding of managing payroll in a diverse organisation.
- Proven experience of managing complex, high volume pay processes.
