Job description

Payroll Administrator

This is a great opportunity to work for a multichannel communication company in North London as a Payroll Administrator where you will join the finance team of 7 people.

You will be based in beautiful offices with excellent transport links on the mainline to Liverpool Street via Tottenham Hale/Seven Sisters and also close to the Victoria Line.

ThesuccessfulcandidatewillbeakeypartoftheFinanceteamandwillberequiredtodeliverthe monthly payroll and associated reports.

You will help ensure full compliance with all Payroll legislation and reporting is all completed in line with statutory timetables.

The Role:

  • Process and maintain accurate payroll records for employees
  • Calculate and enter payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data in Payroll HR system
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
  • Generate payroll reports for management review
  • Prepare and post the related payroll journals to the SUN system
  • Year-end payroll processes and reporting
  • Preparing P11d calculations
  • Review procedures and look for process improvement
  • Other Adhoc tasks as required

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyse and interpret payroll data for reporting purposes
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and other departments
  • Flexible and able to cope under pressure and work to set deadlines
  • Goodcommunicator
  • Experience of payroll administration (required)
  • Experience of Civica/People Live (preferred)
