Payroll Administrator - Stockton on Tees - £30000 p.a + Benefits
A respected local business are seeking a Payroll Administrator to process a portfolio of payrolls on behalf of their high-profile clients.
You will be responsible for;
- Collating time-critical data from clients and upload it into multiple payroll processing software in a timely manner.
- Calculate various types of statutory pay, pension contributions, and Attachment of Earnings (AoEs) accurately.
- Provide clients with a wide range of reports, including year-end reports and P60s, adhering to legislative and statutory requirements.
- Upload data to various auto-enrolment pension portals such as Nest and People's Pension, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Set up and process BACS payments from clients' bank accounts for net wages, PAYE, and other ad-hoc payments.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients when necessary, cross-check payroll calculations of other payroll colleagues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll activities and procedures.
Previous experience working within a payroll bureau environment with up to date UK payroll legislative knowledge.
