Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for running payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis.

Description
The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for:
- Accurately processing weekly and monthly data for over 450 employees
- Updating payroll records
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory returns
- Resolving discrepancies and queries, escalating when necessary
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Keeping up to date with any changes in law and legislation
- Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times
Profile
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
- A proven track record within a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- An understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
