Payroll Assistant

The successful Payroll Assistant will be responsible to work alongside the payroll manager and assist with Payroll and Pension administration.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review monthly payroll submissions for multiple companies
• Process all contract changes, pay rate changes, starters and leavers included on the payroll spreadsheet
• Process all payroll additions and deductions
• Ensure monthly payroll reconciliation sheet is updated and checked accordingly
• Liaise with Line managers and employees in the resolution of any payroll queries
• Support the Payroll Manager in the administration of the annual pay review and annual payroll audit
• Review all processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice for the business
• Responsible for all pensions administration processes, including Auto enrolment, changes to personal information and opt outs
• Administration of starters and leavers
• Regularly audit pension contribution rates and payroll submissions
• Upload monthly pension contributions reports to scheme providers and ensure payments are collected within agreed time frames

The Payroll Assistant would be required to work in the office, you will be able to 8 hours a day these hours are flexible with the earliest start time being 8:00am (8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm). The successful candidate will receive a salary of £24,000 - £26,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, discounted food, and an onsite canteen. Free parking is provided onsite.
