I am working with a small construction company base din Buxton that is seeking an experienced Part TimeAccounts Assistant.

This role is perfect for someone wanting a Part Time role that can offer flexibility to work around your schedule.

Duties:

• Processing income and expenditure transactions.
• Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparing and submitting VAT, CIS and EPS submissions.
• Ensure timely processing of payroll and pension data.
• Reconciliation against various accounts.
• Managing financial deadlines.
• Producing invoices on behalf of clients.
• Constant review of business processes to ensure efficiency.

Skills/Experience:

• Experience working within an accounts team (within a construction business would be an advantage but not essential)
• Experience using Xero would be advantageous.
• Understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) would be beneficial.
