Title: Payroll Assistant
Location: York
Salary: up to £27,000
Are you a new payroller looking for your next step?
We have an exciting role within a national business that are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their payroll team.
Responsibilities:
- Process variable payroll inputs across national locations, including new hires and departures
- Assist with onboarding setups, offboarding removals, HMRC reporting, time off tracking and compensation
- Handle period reporting and payroll reconciliations
- Validate accuracy of payroll entries
- Liaise and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Field and respond to payroll-related queries
- Strong numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments while meeting tight deadlines
