Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will give you the opportunity to hold oversight of a large and complex payroll across several different entities.
In this Payroll Manager role, you will:
- Provide essential oversight of the payroll for a large pool of employees and ensure that all information is processed in-line with strict deadlines.
- Taking the lead in identifying process and system improvements for the payroll function and eventually, providing insight into the transactional finance process.
- Offer valuable support and guidance to the wider organisation by answering queries relating to payroll and pensions.
- Produce essential monthly reports and journals relating to payroll to report to the Finance Manager.
- Be a key player in the transition of the payroll function being brought in house.
