Payroll Manager (Part Time Or Full Time)

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a great business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Part Time or Full TimePayroll Manager into their team on a permanent basis!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate processing of payroll and pension information
• Completing a full end-to-end payroll process, including pension auto-enrolment and tax code changes
• Ensure all shift pattern movements are accurately recorded within the relevant month s payroll
• Liaise with operational managers to improve the timeliness and accuracy of information
• Liaise closely with the HR department to ensure changes within the HR Information System for payroll related information, including new starters, leavers and changes are reflected within the payroll
• Submit pension contributions and employee deductions payments
• P60 reconciliation, review and distribution
• P11d calculations and processing, making the process significantly more efficient
• Respond to queries on payroll related issues including timesheet anomalies (missed clockings, holidays, etc.)
• Work with Group to develop and improve the new T&A system from a payroll point of view
• Assist the Management Accountant in month-end procedures/reporting
• Any other duties as required.

Person Specification:

• Extensive payroll experience
• Must have experience of dong payroll in fast paced business
• Experience of using T&A systems
• Strong IT Skills
• Attention to detail and desire to follow issues through to resolution
• Up to date knowledge of UK payroll legislation
• Diligent worker with an ability to multi-task
• Highly numerate
• Experience of collating statistics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident - able to work effectively at all levels in the business
• CIPP qualification (Highly desirable but not essential)
