Here at Peabody, we have a number of opportunities for a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis at our Pembroke House office.
A bit about the role:
As a Payroll Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Payroll Operations Manager and be responsible for processing the monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely payments are made to all colleagues that meet legislative and contractual requirements. Some of the key results for the role include:
- Responsible for the start to finish processing of the monthly payroll cycle.
- Working in collaboration with the Payroll Officers to accurately calculate and process payments for new starters, leavers, contract changes, pensions, flexible benefits, expenses, and voluntary deductions
- Calculation of sickness, parental leave and associated statutory payments
- Checking trial pay runs and assisting with the preparation of the monthly payroll reports.
- Taking full responsibility for colleagues' payroll queries by ensuring they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

This role will require a minimum of 2 - 3 days working in the Pembroke House office.
