Reed Accountancy are currently supporting a growing Construction business in the Reading area seeking a payroller to join their team. Due to changes within the team my client is seeking an experience candidate to support with the payroll on a weekly basis.
This is a full time, permanent role working 8.30am to 5pm in the office. Working alongside and reporting into the HR Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery, processing and reporting of the weekly payroll.
Duties for this role include,
- Manage Update and Maintain time recording system for all weekly employees.
- Resolving wage queries and adjustments
- Process weekly timesheets, invoices, and expenses for PAYE and CIS employees
- Onboarding – New starter processing on multiple platforms and RTW compliance checks.
- Manage the payroll inboxes.
- Weekly reporting
- Weekly Holiday and statutory payment calculations
- General payroll administration duties to Support the HR and Payroll manager
Weekly payroll experience is desirable for this position along with being comfortable working within a high-volume environment. A strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload is essential. Knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s would also be preferable alongside knowledge of SAGE Payroll.
