Pertemps are recruiting Payroll Support to join their Edinburgh based client.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime hours.
- Process payroll
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulations related to payroll processing.
About You:
- Previous experience in a payroll or finance-related role preferred.
- Experience using iTrent desired
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of payroll processing regulations and best practices is a plus.
