SalaryOur client is a leading engineering company that offer a superb working environment and culture. They are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to focus on PCB layout for new product developments from early concept to full production release.
The Role:
Schematic capture from Design Engineer drawings and detailed layout of PCB designs.
Detailed mechanical design of equipment including 3D modelling of the whole product, incorporating PCB models, wiring, mechanical elements including enclosure.
Innovate and incorporate latest technology developments into new designs.
Ensure best practices are adhered to for manufacturability and testability.
Create fully detailed documentation pack for new designs.
Work closely with project team to ensure relevant standards are adhered to.
Working closely with the NPI team on product release from engineering to production.
Checking and approval of CAD drawings created by peers.
The Candidate:
HNC minimum in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
5 years minimum experience in an electronics development environment focusing on PCB layout.
Experience in mechanical design ideally enclosures.
Strong communication skills.
The Package:
Up to 60,000 with an extremely competitive benefits package including a bonus.
