The People & Change Team at the V&A use expertise to enable realisation of V&A strategy through people.
We are led by the Director of People & Change, who sits on the V&A’s Executive Board, and oversees the work of our expert functions of Talent & Skills; Equality, Diversity & Inclusion; Reward; People Operations; Volunteering, alongside our generalist People Partnering team.
The People Partnering team is made up of the Head of People Partnering, 3.6 FTE Senior People Partners, 1 FTE People Partner and 2.6 FTE People Advisors, who are assigned partnering client groups from across the organisation. The Partnering team provide coaching, advice and guidance through a collaborative and challenging approach on the full range of the employee lifecycle, and work with managers to achieve their strategic aims through people.
People Advisor: Main Purpose
Acting as a confident and trusted advisor to client group managers at all levels, you will use your People & Change expertise to deliver solid advice and guidance and deliver an excellent People & Change customer experience.
Working closely and collaboratively with your Partnering team colleagues, you will support the delivery of the People Plan goals, to promote innovative thinking and working practises; attract, nurture and retain diverse talent; and develop an inspiring, inclusive and collaborative culture at the V&A.
