People Operations Administrator
Permanent, Full-time, Monday - Friday
Hybrid Working - North Bristol 1-2 days a week
The Role
As People Operations Administrator, you will provide an effective legally-compliant and customer-centred service to People Managers across the UK and Ireland.
You will assist with the administration of dentist and hygienist recruitment documentation in a busy People Department. The role will require an excellent standard of verbal and written communication with Practice Managers, Clinicians and Support Centre Colleagues.
Responsibilities

- Customer Service – Deliver the optimum experience for all users of the service, at all stages of the ‘associate life cycle’. To include processing of all contract changes and leaver documentation.. Support operational managers as a clinician accepts a verbal offer, by creating a formal offer, drafting contracts and securely sending/receiving confirmation of acceptance.
- Innovation and Improvement – Your main focus is on continually reviewing ways of working to make our processes more robust; alongside that continuous improvement is in our DNA. This role contributes to development and change of service delivery; we value your input and involvement in the changes/enhancements in technology, process and people.
- Commercial Contract Compliance – You protect the company from risk by accurately carrying out high volumes of administration tasks. This ensures compliance with legislation, regulation and Bupa policies/brand standards; including right to work, clinical referencing, GDC registration, education and qualification checks, GDPR (data protection), equality, etc.
Skills/experience
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of online signing tools such as Adobe Sign.
- Confident to take own initiative following guidance.
- You’ll stand out from the crowd because of your exceptional attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Some experience or understanding of HR/People processes would be helpful enabling you to understand the role and its requirements more easily.
- Ideally you’ll have previous experience in an administrative role.
- You’ll be able to balance deadlines and prioritise your work successfully, with guidance from your Team Manager.
- Your ability to explain recruitment processes and contractual terminology in plain English will prove critical to your success.
- You’ll bring a customer centric approach to the role, with particular emphasis on helping customers to solve problems which you’ll be able to evidence through your previous front-line customer service or operational experience.
