People Partner
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week), Permanent
Location: Hybrid – Homeworking with travel across the South of England (Approx. 2 days per week)
Salary: £46,000 per annum + Benefits
33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays), increasing to 36 days with long service (1 extra day for each year of service).

Scope of the job:
It’s an exciting time to join the People team at SeeAbility as we continue to implement our 5-year strategy with our people strand focused on embedding a ‘people first’ culture where we value people’s experiences and wellbeing as essential to being happy and fulfilled at work. You’ll be joining a passionate and collaborative team. Working as one of four, as a People Partner in SeeAbility you will contribute to the achievement of our ambitious people strategy in your region. You will build strong and trusted partnerships with leaders and colleagues across the Charity enabling the development of a high performing inclusive culture. You will provide constructive challenges as well as acting as a sounding board and a trusted coach and advisor on all ER and People Issues. You will coach and develop people to build on their strengths, so they can perform to the best of their ability, developing skills for today and the future.
This is a hybrid role, working predominantly from home with approximately two days a week in our homes across the south of England.
In your new role:
You will work with Directors, Heads of Department and Managers to ensure all elements of the people strategy, key outcomes and KPIS are well developed, delivered, embedded, measured, and evaluated for success.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on all employee relation casework. Support Managers to resolve employee issues, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner. Coaching for performance and consistent and fair outcomes at all levels.
Develop and facilitate talent and leadership programmes for the organisation, to ensure we have the skills for today and the future.
Promote high performance through facilitating great succession planning and development of our managers to conduct development discussions, personal development plans and quality conversations.
Acting as an ambassador for SeeAbility to ensure we are seen as an Employer of Choice, developing and embedding our people first inclusive culture.
Support the Head of People Experience and Leaders to build colleague engagement and voice across SeeAbility. Support Managers to develop and embed a dynamic, inclusive working environment where all colleagues feel valued and accepted for who they are and can bring their authentic selves to work.
Lead on organisational development for your region, support change programmes, TUPE, organisation design, working with leaders to ensure we have the right people processes and procedures in place across SeeAbility.
Support and lead on key People projects to enable achievement our 5-year strategy.
The experience you will possess to be successful:
A skilled coach and advisor to managers, drawing appropriately on best practice and relevant theories to improve standards of people management.
Demonstrate confidence in the development and delivery of leadership initiatives.
Experience of operating in a high tempo environment with strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to exercise appropriate autonomy.
Awareness of the importance of EDI, colleague engagement and wellbeing.
Demonstrates a range of enhanced HR skills including the use and analysis of HRMI and data to shape and inform business need and solutions.
Experience of supporting and undertaking HR projects, including involvement in project planning and change management initiatives.
Ability to identify and propose improvements to HR services, policies and working practices to support improvements to organisational effectiveness.
Commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and equal opportunities.
Experience of managing TUPE.
Working knowledge of UK employment law and proposed legislation changes.
Ability to identify and mitigate risk in an employee relations context, based on highly developed experience of relevant employment legislation and high-quality case planning.
Confident in using a range of core IT applications such as MS Office, particularly including use of databases/information to support effective workforce planning and performance management.
Ability to drive and access to your own vehicle.
