Job Description
  • JOB TITLE: People Partner
  • LOCATIONS: Bristol, Leeds or Edinburgh
  • SALARY: £71,825 - £84,500
  • HOURS: Full Time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the People Partnering team in the Business & Commercial Banking & Corporate & Institutional Banking.
A day in the life of a People Partner is fast paced and ever changing! A People Partner works on all aspects of the colleague lifecycle across topics such as strategic workforce planning, recruitment, culture, organisation design, talent management, reward, learning & development, people risk, and many more.
What we need from you
  • Reporting into the People Director, you'll support strategic direction in defining and implementing the LBG People Plan for multiple BCB and CIB business areas.
  • Be a champion of our inclusion and diversity ambitions.
  • Create a high performing culture, fast tracking those with potential to do more, ensuring the right risks are taken on talent and dealing appropriately with performance.
  • Coach and develop members of the BCB and CIB leadership teams and talent, creating a feeder talent pool for the rest of LBG.
  • Focus on the BCB and CIB's organisational health and effectiveness, enabling the team to work effectively and live the Values.
  • Ensure the employee proposition is delivered in BCB and CIB, focussing on minimum standards and beyond.
  • Be a phenomenal partner with key internal customers and act as their people business partner, working with P&P colleagues to deliver against their requirements.
  • Grow capability within BCB and CIB whilst personally investing in the growth of your own and others' capabilities elsewhere in the organisation through mentoring and developing informal coaching relationships.
  • Analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies impacts on the business.

  • Expert in all core HR disciplines, with a track record of end to end, large and or specialist workforce people and places transformation
  • Strong relationship management, influencing and coaching developing trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Drive, energy, and the ability to act with pace
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and balance changing priorities
  • Innovative and good at problem solving
