JOB TITLE: Personal Assistant to People Partnering Director, Consumer Relationships
LOCATION: : Bristol, Halifax, Leeds or Edinburgh
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

Operating as part of the People & Places (P&P) leadership team, the People Partnering Director leads a team of c35 who partner Consumer Relationships, leading in the design & implementation of people plans, ensuring they are aligned to business strategies, and apply their expertise, to support senior leaders on the propositions and products from across the People & Places function.
Your role will cover;
As part of the team, you'll provide PA support to ensure the effective running of the Directors’ working days, including diary, travel, email management and other key tasks.
  • Proactively manage the diary of the People Director to achieve optimum time efficiency, whilst planning and prioritising a fast-paced dynamic schedule and producing comprehensive information to support all appointments.
  • Working at quick pace to rearrange diaries where needed, consulting with the People Director to update them on any changes.
  • Answer incoming queries, ascertaining their nature and importance, and resolving a range of enquiries.
  • Playing a key role in the delivery of team events and supporting culture build activities.
  • Gather and provide information on a wide range of topics, including material for various committees.
  • Minute taking at key meetings as required.
  • Lead the smooth day to day running of operational activities e.g., Workday incl. holiday planner, structure charts, reporting and key records etc.
  • Administer HR processes with the utmost sensitivity and discretion.
  • Manage travel requirements, Valued awards, expenses, IT approvals, and other support activities.
  • Engage with senior colleagues in the team and outside, clarifying requirements to support business decisions.
  • Arrange meetings with external parties.

What you’ll need
  • Experience working as a Personal Assistant.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with offices up to Group Executive Committee (GEC) level.
  • Comfortable acting in a fast-paced environment and prioritising when faced with different, sometimes conflicting, demands.
  • Proactive in ensuring the team runs effectively and suggesting areas of improvement.
  • Effective communication, planning and organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Sensitivity and tact.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
