Salary: £28,119 to £35,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

The Role

 

We are looking for a People Systems Analyst to join our fast paced, diverse Human Resources function.

 

The People Systems Analyst is responsible for:

 

  • Maintaining the day-to-day effectiveness of SuccessFactors modules
  • Initial point of contact for SuccessFactors queries, issues and problems
  • Maintenance of the core SuccessFactors configuration / structure to meet business needs

 

You will be responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, operation, and ongoing administration of our SAP SuccessFactors system. You will ensure that HR systems and related procedures adhere to organisational processes, policies, and guidelines.

 

Core Accountabilities

 

  • Running routine and cyclical processes to ensure that effective day-to day operation of functionality within SuccessFactors modules
  • Initial People System contact point for queries that cannot be resolved by *Tier 1 or *Tier 2 support, providing functional expertise, advice and guidance for stakeholders and resolution of problems / issues
  • Escalating issues where necessary - internally within the People System team or externally to the Systems Integration Partner and/or SAP, tracking and driving tickets to resolution
  • Daily monitoring of scheduled jobs from SuccessFactors, escalating any failures.
  • Daily monitoring of Admin Alerts in SuccessFactors. Investigating and fixing errors
  • Instructing People Advisors of corrections to be made to employee data
  • Performing routine data imports to ensure integrity of People data and to reflect changes to HR policy or the outcome of implementation of routine HR processes
  • Understand the business context to maintain the integrity of the hierarchical structure of SuccessFactors
  • Liaise with Senior People Partners, HR Consultants and Finance to ensure the necessary information is provided to support organisational changes and enable timely data updates within SuccessFactors to support implementation
  • Maintenance of the system foundation objects aligned to People policy or process changes and business reorganisation
  • Understanding the workbooks for each SuccessFactors module and updating the workbooks where needed to reflect changes
  • Participating in the bi-annual SF release management process. Includes reviewing release notes and attending SAP and System Integration partner webinars, performing regression testing, performing testing on new release items and preparing release communications for administrators and end-users
  • Perform periodic change control reviews on the application, system and user role profiles (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly), taking the required action in relation to the corresponding control
  • Understand all HR Systems and infrastructure to ensure data management is secure and complies with data protection policies, including GDPR
  • Supporting SF module experts (and leading where appropriate) in the People System continuous improvements - including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and rollout to administrators and end-users

 

About You

 

To be considered for the role you must have:

 

  • Experience in either administering or supporting a HR system (preferably SuccessFactors)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests and respond within appropriate timeframe
  • Strong customer service focus and strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills to Intermediate level minimum
  • Inquisitive with an eye for detail, adept at reviewing data to spot anomalies and trends to help identify solutions
  • Strong and reliable team member who contributes to both individual development goals and the team's strategic objectives
  • Business Writing/Business Analyst experience and skills desirable - able to translate requirements and be a conduit between technical and non-technical colleagues

We are looking for a People Systems Analyst to help with both BAU and project tasks. This is an opportunity to learn SuccessFactors without the need for prior experience (although SF experience would be a bonus!).

 

We use most of the SuccessFactors modules: Employee Central, Learning, Performance and Goal Management, Onboarding, Recruitment and we are in the process of implementing Compensation.

This role will require pre-employment checks to Baseline Personnel Security Standard.  For this you must have the right to work in the UK.
