We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator with an interest in recruitment to join our People Team.
If you are highly organised, have a friendly telephone manner and great attention to detail then we’d love to hear from you. Our supportive team will provide full training to ensure that you excel in this role.
Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical contractor working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes a year. Established over 40 years ago, we now employ more than 850 staff across the UK and we work with the country’s major house builders. Last year we acquired a solar PV business and solar installations are now a rapidly growing part of our business.
Throughout the year we hire apprentices for our award-winning, in-house apprenticeship programme. We are looking for someone to coordinate our candidate assessment days and facilitate a great candidate journey at every stage of the recruitment process.
This is a rewarding role which will allow you to guide candidates through the recruitment and selection process before sharing the good news with those who are successful and welcoming them to the company on their first day with us.
You will also provide support for the recruitment of our head office vacancies as well as assisting with general HR administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Advertising new opportunities
- Organising room bookings and equipment for assessment days
- Booking candidates onto assessment days
- Collating candidate information for hiring managers
- Recording test results
- Organising interviews
- Making offers to successful candidates
- New starter and induction paperwork
- Welcoming successful candidates at their induction
- Supporting with HR administrative tasks
Requirements:
- A-Level /equivalent qualifications are preferred however we will consider candidates with grade 4/C or above in GCSE maths & English with relevant experience.
- Minimum of six months’ office experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident and friendly telephone manner
- Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Diligent with good attention to detail
