Performance Marketing Specialist
Location: Central Belfast | Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 DOE | Hybrid Working
Our Client:
Our client are a forward-thinking agency at the forefront of digital advertising, specialising in innovative solutions that drive client success. Based in a bespoke Belfast City Centre office, they are looking for a talented Performance Marketing Specialist to join the team.
The Role:
This is a senior position with a blend of technical and client-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital advertising combined with a strong understanding of technical solutions. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maximise the value of their advertising campaigns through hands-on support, account management, and the implementation of various data and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client / Account Management:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
- Communicate regularly via email/phone, lead presentations and reports.
- Proactively ensure clients understand the next steps for growth and agency development.
- Assist with proposals and pitches.
Ad Campaign Management:
- Manage ad campaigns across multiple platforms to maximise client value.
- Handle budgets using our proprietary tool.
- Optimise bids and campaign performance.
Reporting:
- Create, write, and present detailed reports and presentations.
- Utilise analytics platforms like Supermetrics, Google Sheets, BigQuery, and HubSpot.
- Assist in building report automations, data pipelines, and integrations.
Technical Marketing:
- Support technical implementations including tagging and tracking (GTM, Consent Mode, Enhanced Measurement) and other solutions (GA4, BigQuery, Advanced Analytics).
Strategy & Research:
- Develop paid media plans and contribute to strategy creation.
- Conduct audience, creative, and competitive research.
- Assist in internal R&D, including the development of new processes and tools.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners, including managing freelancers.
Essential Criteria:
- 2+ years of experience in Google Ads management.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Confidence with spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a busy agency environment.
- Based within commuting distance of central Belfast.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with other digital advertising platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience in quality assurance and tag implementation testing.
- Experience in industries such as Insurance, B2B, SaaS, and Ecommerce.
- Familiarity with other tag management systems (e.g., Tealium).
- Experience with SQL, BigQuery, and Google Cloud, or other data warehouse tools.
- Advanced analytics knowledge, including attribution solutions or MMM.
- Proficiency in Google Apps Script.
- Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
