Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Location: Middlesbrough TS8
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 64-year-old female living the Middlesbrough area who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 6 hours per week with social support.
Main duties:
Social duties
 keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
 accessing the local community
 attend medical appointments if required
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

 Specific requirements: someone with previous support worker experience.
Hours of work: 6 hours per week – times to be discussed
Rate of pay: £11.44
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
 driving licence
 car and appropriate insurance
 previous support work experience
 confidentiality
 good at building relationships
Preferred:
 computer literate
 good communicator
 a good listener
 ability to support people with complex support needs
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
