PERSONAL ASSISTANT

THE ROLE: We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to work within our Executive Support Team, providing a full range of executive support to the Directors within the portfolio assigned. Working closely with other Personal / Executive Assistants and colleagues across the organisation the Personal Assistant should play a proactive role in ensuring the Director has everything they need for their days to run smoothly.
The Personal Assistant must be a team player with an ability to work flexibly across the organisation, prioritising and managing their own workload amid conflicting and busy work periods. Excellent judgement and discretion, and an ability to promote a positive image to both internal and external stakeholders, are essential.
THE PERSON: You will already be a confident Personal / Executive Assistant with a proven track record of working at Director / Deputy Director level, ensuring the allocation of a Director’s time is proactively managed and aligns with strategic priorities. You will have the ability to multi-task and remain calm when working in a fast-paced environment, with a patient and logical approach to analysing information effectively to solve problems. With excellent attention to detail, you will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels and establish a strong rapport with senior leaders, both internally and externally, using diplomacy, tact and influencing. You will have experience of dealing with matters of a highly confidential nature and acting appropriately.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: You should have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and be highly proficient with the MS Office Suite and document management. An understanding of the organisational structure and senior management within the company is desirable. You will have the ability to assist with the preparation of reports and papers for meetings on behalf of the Executive team.
The role is based at Atrium Court, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday and does not offer agile/hybrid working. Salary £37,295 - £47,295 per annum.

Selection process: Assessment and Interview may form the initial stages of the selection process. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical questionnaire. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period.
Training: Training initially involves on-line Induction.
