What you’ll be doing as a Personal Assistant

• Work with our broader PA team to share responsibilities for Digital and the needs of the leadership team. We are a newly formed team and therefore this is a great time to join and help shape our ways of working and improved processes. This role is ripe for someone make it their own!
• Manage multiple diaries and expenses as well as raising recruitment orders as required and ensuring approvals and authorisations are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Support with invoicing and PO process to ensure 3rd party payments are processed efficiently
• Organise meetings, events, and departmental activities, taking minutes and recording actions where appropriate as well as arranging travel and booking venues as required.
• Drafting confidential documents and memos, responses to all forms of communications on behalf of the Digital Transformation Lead team and providing support for presentations
• Acting as the first point of contact and face for the Digital Transformation office, fielding all queries, from internal or external customers, meeting and greeting key stakeholders, processing, and replying to sensitive and confidential correspondence and forwarding requests as appropriate.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative and committed working environment, building respect and trust amongst colleagues.

Base Location: Reading - Hybrid

Working Pattern or hours: 36 Hours - Fixed Term Contract

What you should bring to the role

• Highly organised with a professional, agile and diligent nature
• Understand the needs of our customers, handling situations in a sensitive way
• Proven success at a senior level in a similar role, ideally within a highly regulated environment
• Knowledge of social media with the ability to respond to messages where needed
• Loyal and trustworthy with a friendly, sociable approach, expressing a passion for Thames Waters’ Purpose, Values and Behaviours
• Excellent grammar and attention to detail
• Problem solving mentality
