Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinator | Bromley
Headteachers Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinator, Bromley, £30k-£35k.
Are you a dynamic, organised, and proactive individual with a passion for education? We are currently seeking an organised, efficient, and enthusiastic individual to join a Bromley based school as Heads Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinator.
As Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head and ensuring the seamless operation of the schools administrative functions. This multifaceted position combines executive support with recruitment responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the school.
Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinator job summary:
  • Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinatorsalary is £30,000 - £35,000.
  • Plan the Head’s diary, arranging appointments as appropriate and rescheduling clashes in advance when required.
  • Manage outgoing correspondence to and from the Head’s office, including drafting letters/emails and filtering phone calls, emails, and post.
  • Deal with queries in the Head’s absence, referring matters to a relevant member of SLT or SMT staff to action where appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Head and Line Managers to create job applicant packs including drafting of job descriptions.
  • Coordination of the interview process from shortlisting and invitation to interview to preemployment checks and onboarding/induction.
  • Collate applications and coordinate interview panels to complete shortlisting.
  • Administration of the School’s Single Central Record with oversight from the Head and Safeguarding Governor.
  • Work with Line Managers to carry out induction and probationary review meetings and complete any required paperwork.
  • Create and maintain HR files, ensuring that all necessary documentation is filed and correct in accordance with GDPR and relevant policies.
Personal Assistant & Recruitment Coordinator requirements:
  • A 2:1 degree or above.
  • Experience working within the Education sector (desirable)
  • Experience working within HR/Recruitment (desirable)
  • Experience working in an Admin role (essential)
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience as an executive assistant/Personal Assistant to senior management preferred.
