Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to a female individual in need of assistance with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life of a young woman living with multiple disabilities.
Duties:
- Assist client with Personal Care tasks, such as showering and dressing
- Administer medications according to care plan, MAR and document accurately
- Monitor, record and report accurately any changes in condition, including daily observations
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, including cooking, laundry and all aspects of keeping a clean, dust-free tidy home
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Assist client with her dogs including feeding and walking them
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in English language
- Experience in providing Personal Care services preferred
- Experience of administering complex medications
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow instructions accurately from her employer
- Familiarity with home care or care home settings is a plus
- Valid UK/EU driver's license is essential
