Applications are invited for the post of
Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level , to work in the Pharmacy at Grantham Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and hardworking individual. Duties will include working in the dispensary and for the Homecare section of the department, and supporting procurement. You will be involved in ward top up, stock supply, reception duty, receiving goods and dispensing for in-patients, discharges and out-patients. You will also work with the Homecare team based on other sites to receive prescriptions, raise and receipt orders, dispense, certify and authorise invoices, provide reports.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is able to work equally well as an individual or a member of the team. It will be essential for you to have the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Pharmacy or the willingness to study towards this qualification, with appropriate in-house training being provided.
