Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager

Prospectus is delighted to be working exclusively with Ripple Effect to help them recruit for a Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to join their team. Over the last 30 years, Ripple Effect has been helping families to grow their own food, confidence and aspirations. They are a force for change in rural Africa. Ripple Effect has inspired Africa led solutions, which are developed in collaboration with communities. Providing families with renewed skills to confidently farm their land and earn a living, knowledge which is then passed on, generation to generation, and family to family, creating a confident, thriving and sustainable rural Africa.
This role is offered on a permanent (0.8FTE) basis paying a salary of up to £36,685 per annum pro rata with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their office near Bath.

The post holder will secure, develop, and manage a portfolio of partnerships with corporates and high net worth individuals with a particular focus on maintaining and growing mutually beneficial relationships with Ripple Effect’s corporate partners and high net worth individuals in the UK and supporting efforts in the USA, Europe and Africa, securing predominately unrestricted income to support Ripple Effect’s work.  They will support the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships and work closely with the rest of P&P team and colleagues in the UK, USA, and Africa, to make an important contribution to the success of Ripple Effect’s global fundraising strategy. The post holder will represent Ripple Effect at external meetings, donor meetings, and events when required.

They are looking for someone with a demonstrable experience of five- and six-figure fundraising success with corporate partners and/or high net worth individuals. They are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable experience of networking and building relationships with external corporate funders and/or high net worth donors. They are looking for someone with a demonstrable experience of managing reporting schedules and requirements for corporate partners and/or high net worth individuals. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable interest in international development and a commitment to Ripple Effect’s mission.
