SalaryOur client, a fast-growing boutique global asset manager specialising in macroeconomic strategies, has an opening for an experienced Middle Office Operations Analyst to support our client's physical commodities business investing in metals, agriculture, gas and power.
This will suit middle office Operations Analysts with a genuine interest in Commodities to excel in a high-profile and fast-paced team supporting the Commodity trading desks. In this role you will work in a newly established team of 2 providing dedicated operational support to the Commodities Traders. In this role you will develop a keen knowledge of commodities managing, monitoring and investigating reporting breaks, identifying and implementing corrective actions, and providing end to end trade operations to include trade confirmations, trade settlement, collateral, P&L, to name just a few.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding and dynamic environment, focusing on macroeconomic strategies and investing in diverse asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, and Crypto currencies. Although this role will support the commodities trading desks, candidates are only required to have a minimum of 2-5 years trade support experience with a genuine interest in commodities from an asset manager, hedge fund or an investment bank.
As a member of the middle office team, you will take ownership of the full trade lifecycle and work closely with quant developers to establish robust operational processes for Operations. Your role will involve being a crucial link between the front office and third-party middle office administrators, ensuring efficient communication and seamless trade operations.
