To be responsible for planning and prioritising own case load.To take delegated responsibility from senior colleagues for managing and treating patients. To represent physiotherapy at MDT meetings and discussion patient care. Encourage patients and carers in an active approach to regaining and maintaining independence.To be highly skilled in communicating with patients of all ages who have range of physical and psychological barriers to understanding.To manage clinical risk within own patient case loadTo work within Trust and CSP clinical guidelines and have a working knowledge of national and local standards and monitor own quality of practiceFollowing completion of respiratory care competencies, to work on the rapid response and on-call service including provision of PGDsTo be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with Trust and CSP standards.To attain competencies for the safe use of all equipment and techniques before useTo provide physiotherapeutic service over seven days.
