Planning and Performance Support Officer - The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional to assist our Planning and Performance Team in coordinating a wide variety of tasks related to reporting on performance, risk and internal audit, and supporting the delivery of various projects and programmes.
This presents a real opportunity for career development, particularly in the fields of Planning and project/performance/benefit management as you help deliver training on performance system and level 1 project management to enhance skills across the organisation. Additionally, this role will provide support for our management of risk and internal audit recommendation program of work, and entail acting as a secretariat for meetings.
Planning and Performance Support Officer – Key Responsibilities:
The overall objectives of this role are:
- To support reporting on performance, risk and internal audit
- To support the delivery of a range of projects and programmes
The post holder will:
- Monitor progress and report on our audit recommendations, risks, performance indicators, and operational activities.
- Maintain the current Planning and Performance system (Ideagen Risk Management / Pentana Risk), including audit checks and regular maintenance
- Ensure all programme and project management activity is conducted in accordance with the methodology and documentation introduced by the Portfolio Management Office (PMO)
Planning and Performance Support Officer – You:
- Experience in a performance, project, or support environment (qualification in this area advantageous but not essential)
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel for working on spreadsheets, tables, and charts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for process mapping and experience with visualisations (advantageous)
- Experience working in fast-paced environments
- Proactive and eager to add value
- Quick learner and takes responsibility when given the opportunity
