Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 5pm finish on Fridays!

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and organised Planning & Office (Production) Manager to join a thriving company in Edenbridge. As the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Print & Finishing programme and team, developing production schedules, estimating material and labour requirements, resolving production issues, compiling reports, and assisting with general account management and customer enquiries.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing the Print programme and team (3)
- Developing production schedules to meet deadlines
- Estimating material, equipment, and labour requirements
- Resolving production issues to minimise delays
- Compiling status and performance reports for management
- Estimating potential work
- Ordering consumables and controlling board stock
- Assisting the production team as needed
- Quality checking products and passing jobs
- Assessing material size
- Organising delivery of goods and raising delivery notes with the warehouse
- Data entry into production software and reconciliation
- Booking in production jobs
- Requesting quotations, processing outwork schedules, and raising purchase orders
- Handling customer NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), investigation, and resolution
- Dealing with machine manufacturers and suppliers
Skills Required:
- Relevant and proven experience in Production Planning / Scheduling / Manufacturing / FMCG / Commercial background due to the level of responsibility required
- Ability to liaise with clients and manage relationships with key clients
- Supervisory skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in data entry and production software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
