Planning Manager

Office-based

Responsible for keeping everyone focused by transparently planning and tracking key projects and goals, to ensure focus on priorities, identifying risks, and making good choices for resource allocation.

The main focus of the role will be to provide project management best practice and core tools to asset and functional teams to support delivery on objectives.

Job Overview:

• Taking lead on project planning for all projects across teams.
• Providing proactive input into cross-business activities.
• Tracking projects, noting inter-dependencies to enable prioritisation, clarity, and communication between the teams.
• Providing project management leadership.
• Leading commercial processes improvement workstreams and tracking to support implementation.
• Ensuring decisions, issues, and risks are adequately analysed and documented.

To be successful:

• Educated to a degree level or higher qualification in a Scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in project or process management roles (in the pharmaceutical industry or in consulting).
• Demonstrable experience in project management.
• Strong organisation skills.
• Experience of working across different functions and across business silos.
• Proactivity, resilient, ability to prioritise and escalate issues as required.
