Title:Planning Solicitor
Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Full time, permanent
Location: Central London & hybrid working
Key Responsibilities of the Planning Solicitor:
- Providing advice within residential and mixed used developments to retailers, charities, investors, NHS, and local authorities
- Provide strategic and tactical advice on securing planning permission for various development schemes
- Draft and negotiate statutory agreements, land development agreements, and highway agreements
- Undertake due diligence in relation to the planning aspects of real estate, funding and corporate transactions
- Advise on special protection areas, assets of community value, village greens, EIA, CIL and GLA planning etc
- Conduct planning appeals, judicial review and enforcement proceedings
Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Planning Solicitor:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in planning law
- Extensive experience in planning and highways including more complex matters
- Experience of planning appeals and presenting at planning committees
- Understands and complies with information security, data protection and confidentiality obligations
