SalaryFM Conway are searching for an enthusiastic Plant Operative to join us at our Newhaven Asphalt Plant. Working a mixture of day and night shifts, you will join us on a permanent basis.
As our Plant Operativeyou will need to operate the plant and associated equipment to facilitate production of materials for our customer’s needs.
Working within the Asphalt & Aggregate division you will plan and communicate information effectively to ensure that all customer requirements can be met.
The duties of the role will include:
- Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner that complies with FMC procedures
- Loading of material onto vehicles
- Undertaking all loading shovel operations as required
- Operating all weighbridge functions as required
- Following site Health & Safety procedures
- Contributing to overall well-being and profitability of the site and the business
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for this role It is essential that you are a team player, with good communications skills and a full UK driving license. You will be flexible, computer literate and health and safety conscious. Previous experience within a similar role would be desirable.
