Roles & Responsibilities
- Service all clients by providing timely and accurate fund and operational assistance.
- Provide full support to the sales team and assist them in raising and maintaining assets for funds and mandates.
- Manage the process of onboarding share classes to platforms and the negotiation of any rebate terms with the Head of Strategic Partners if needed.
- Manage the process of ring-fencing specific share classes for key clients on specific platforms & perform a quarterly review of the MI with the relevant platforms.
- Work with the Head of Strategic Partnerships in the relationship management of a number of external parties/clients (including UK advisory platforms, back book and ex-entities).
- Manage the production of ad-hoc reporting for the Platform relationships.
- Keep the Head of Strategic Partners and the wider sales team updated on all sales opportunities that come via platforms so that the flow of information remains constant and that no opportunities are missed.
- Work with the Product team and the Transfer Agency team to ensure that all communications to platforms are managed effectively and distribution aspects are considered.
- Maintain and update records on the CRM.
- Attend roadshows, conferences and meetings as required.
- Manage client queries in a timely & professional manner. Queries range from literature requests, detailed fund information, performance attribution requests and assisting with dealing & operational queries. Keep the sales team updated on all client interaction to ensure that the flow of information remains constant and that no opportunities are missed.
Background & Experience
- A demonstrable track record of having worked within the Asset Management industry within Platform Management or Client Services.
- Good knowledge of unit trusts, OEICs, pricing and OCFs.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK platform market, including the regulatory environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, high attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce.
- Knowledge of the sales process with wholesale and institutional investors.
- IMC is preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of competitors, relative performance, funds and buy lists for our major clients.
- Knowledge of the products offered by the firm and the importance of being a regulated firm as applicable to the role is expected.
- A good understanding of the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime and how it applies to the role.
