- Hours: Full-time, 39 weeks per year 32.5 hours per week 8.30-15.30pm
- Salary: Grade 3 SCP 3-6 (£22,737 - £23,893) Pro Rata

Candidates should possess a genuine passion for special education and a commitment to enhancing the lives of students with special needs. While formal qualifications like a degree in special education can be beneficial, schools often seek individuals with strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt learning materials and strategies to support diverse learning requirements. Experience in a similar role or a background in therapy, care programs, or inclusive education is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs
- Support individual students, both academically and emotionally
- Facilitate inclusive classroom activities
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance student learning
Qualifications:
- Passion for special education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
