twentyAI are excited to be partnered with an exciting Venture Capital firm, who are looking for a Portfolio Finance Analyst to join their team.
The Client: The client is a global Venture Capital and growth equity firm dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs worldwide. They manage $11 billion in assets across approximately 300 portfolio companies, they focus on software, Fintech, consumer tech, and digital health sectors.
The Role: As Portfolio Finance Analyst, you'll support financial and portfolio operations across the European arm of the business. Reporting to the Head of Finance and collaborating closely with the Head of Portfolio Management, your role is pivotal in maintaining financial oversight of the European arm, liaising with portfolio company CFOs, and facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct quarterly valuations, produce reports and raise any potential issues or concerns.
- Monitor portfolio operations to support planning and forecasting.
- Facilitate investment processes and ensure timely closures.
- Analyse deal pipelines and deployment pace.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and tax audits.
- Support technology initiatives and provide ad-hoc assistance.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified accountant, ideally via an accountancy/audit firm with audit experience across VC/PE.
- Strong academic background and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Preferred hands-on experience in private equity/Venture Capital and valuations.
- Proactive and detail orientated.
